Taft Attorney Hux Appointed to Board of Directors of Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum
INDIANAPOLIS, IN— Alan M. Hux, a partner in the Indianapolis office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, was recently appointed to Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum’s (ICLEF) Board of Directors. ICLEF is the premier provider of CLE in the State of Indiana and is affiliated with the Indiana Bar Foundation and the State Bar Association.
Hux’s practice is primarily devoted to business and real estate matters. He represents various utilities concentrating in assisting landowners in the formation and utilization of conservancy districts in handling various utility services. He also represents various real estate developers.
According to ICLEF Executive Director, Tom von Kamecke, Hux was chosen for the position because of his long standing relationship with ICLEF and specific expertise he can provide the Corporation. Hux’s term will last two years and will run from October 2008 to October 2010.
“I am personally pleased that Alan will serve as a Director,” said von Kamecke. “He will serve not only as a traditional Board Member but further, will be asked to serve on ICLEF’s Budget/Fiscal Committee providing direct oversight of the Corporation’s finances. We are fortunate that such as experienced attorney will volunteer their time.”
