Taft Attorneys to Speak at 2024 P3 Higher Education Summit
Two Taft partners will share their insights on public-private partnerships (P3) at the upcoming 2024 P3 Higher Education Summit.
On Monday, Oct. 7, from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m., Karl Camillucci will participate in a panel discussion titled “Why do a P3? Building the Business Case and Selling it to your Community.” The panel will explore the key business considerations and strategies for communicating the P3 model to stakeholders. Camillucci advises developers, landowners, and governmental entities on complex real estate financing and development projects, focusing on P3s, land use, and economic development incentives.
Then, on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Taft attorney Tom John will speak on “Risk Allocation” at the AIAI P3Direct Bootcamp. John, chair of the firm’s Public Infrastructure group, focuses on P3s, government procurement, and infrastructure.
The 2024 P3 Higher Education Summit in Washington, D.C. includes leaders from more than 50 higher education institutions. The event focuses on how institutions can leverage P3s for facility upgrades and expansions. Learn more about the P3 Higher Education Summit here.
