Taft Awarded ESGR's Service Member Patriot Award

At a recent partner meeting in Cincinnati, Taft Columbus partner Adam Miller accepted the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Service Member Patriot Award on behalf of Taft Columbus. The award is given in recognition of employers who support citizen warriors through workplace efforts such as flexible schedules, time off before and after deployment, caring for families and granting leaves of absence.

As a firm committed to supporting our military service members and veterans, Taft is honored to receive this recognition. When asked about his experience at Taft as a Lieutenant Colonel for the U.S. Army Reserve, Taft Indianapolis partner Trent Sandifur states, “Taft has been incredibly supportive of my military service. From an Afghanistan deployment, to a hurricane relief mobilization, to countless overseas training events, Taft has had my back every step of the way.”

Established in 1972, ESGR is a Department of Defense program dedicated to promoting employer support and understanding for military service members in the Guard or Reserve. ESGR has representation in all 50 states, with more than 3,750 volunteers to help foster workplace cultures that support military service members and their families.
