Taft Chicago Office Remodel Featured in Chicago Lawyer
Taft Chicago’s expanded and reimagined office space was featured in the April/May 2024 issue of Chicago Lawyer in the publication’s “Spaces” column. Last year, the firm completed a multi-phase remodel, adding new offices, and a state-of-the-art conference and lounge space. Chicago Partner and Office Chairman Cid Froelich said of the new space, “We wanted to build a more modern, central conference room space that was both inviting and modern and technologically up to date.”
Many other firms have reduced their physical footprint in recent years. Taft added an additional floor to accommodate the firm’s growth from 70 to 140 lawyers in the last 10 years. The new 26th floor is linked via an internal spiral staircase shown above. The updated space and new amenities, “Have helped the culture and really brought people back,” said Chicago Partner-in-Charge Paul Jenson.
