Taft welcomes Josh Bass to the firm’s Private Equity practice in the Cleveland office.

Bass’ practice primarily involves advising private equity firms, public and private companies, and real estate sponsors in connection with structuring and negotiating complex business transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, business formations, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Taft, he was an attorney with Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. Bass earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology, and his B.A., with university honors, from the University of Michigan.
