Taft Cleveland Honors O’Bryan
Stephen M. O’Bryan’s legacy at Taft was honored on May 19 with the naming of the office’s largest conference room to the O’Bryan Room. The dedication honors O’Bryan’s successful 50-year career as a litigation attorney and his longevity with Taft. He began his legal practice with the Cleveland firm Kelley, McCann & Livingstone in 1969, after he earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Taft merged with Kelley, McCann & Livingstone in 2001. O’Bryan served as partner-in-charge of the Cleveland office for sixteen years, from 1996-2013.
O’Bryan was named as one of the “500 Most Influential Leaders in Cleveland” by Cleveland Magazine in 2021. He is recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Best Lawyers in America®, Benchmark Litigation, and Ohio Super Lawyers. O’Bryan is a member of the Society of Benchers, the John M. Manos Inn of Court, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the Eighth District Judicial Conference, to name a few. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio.
