Taft Litigation Partners Publish Article in The Indiana Lawyer on Zoom Jury Trial Experience
Taft partners Jayna Cacioppo, Peter French, and Ann McCready authored the article “Weighing the efficiencies of Zoom jury trials,” which was published in The Indiana Lawyer on Aug. 4. The article discusses the litigation team’s experience participating in one of the country’s longest Zoom jury trials to date.
Cacioppo serves as chair of Taft’s Indianapolis Litigation practice group and has significant courtroom experience in both criminal and civil matters. Her practice includes complex commercial, civil, environmental and white-collar criminal litigation, as well as regulatory investigations by state and federal agencies.
French is a partner in Taft’s Litigation practice group. He has represented clients in a wide variety of contexts, including class actions, False Claims Act lawsuits, strict product liability claims, intellectual property infringement matters, securities matters, shareholder disputes, real estate development and construction disputes, false advertising and unfair competition cases, breach of contract cases, commercial mortgage foreclosures, and insurance coverage matters.
McCready is a partner in Taft’s Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on complex disputes that span a variety of areas and industries, including business and contract disputes, environmental and toxic tort litigation, intellectual property disputes, products liability claims, securities litigation, and white-collar criminal litigation.
