Taft is ranked 137 on the top 200 list of largest law firms in the world by revenues. The Am Law list is one of the most recognized rankings in the legal profession. Earlier this year, Taft broke into the Am Law 100 as the 100^th largest firm in the United States by revenues.

Taft has grown its attorney headcount by more than 85% in the last five years. Taft recently announced its upcoming combination with leading Michigan full-service law firm Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., effective Dec. 31, 2022. With the addition of Jaffe, the firm will be comprised of more than 800 attorneys in eight primary Midwest markets and the District of Columbia.
