Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) honored Taft at the SMRLS annual Fall Appreciation Luncheon on Nov. 26. SMRLS presented Taft with the “Million Dollar Club” award to recognize Taft’s longtime support, financial contributions, and pro bono service. In addition to providing financial support and pro bono counsel, Taft attorneys have served on SMRLS’ Board of Directors for many years.

SMRLS provides free, high-quality civil legal help in Ramsey, Washington, Dakota, and 30 other counties to low-income people in civil matters such as housing, family law, and elder law.
