Taft Signs 15-Year Lease with STRATACACHE as it Continues Expansion in Dayton
Taft Dayton is pleased to announce plans to expand its current office, signing a 15-year lease spanning several floors of the STRATACACHE Tower, a 30-story building in the heart of downtown Dayton owned by global marketing technology company STRATACACHE. This summer, Taft will begin renovations on the building’s 16th and 17th floors to provide a more modern and larger space for attorneys and staff. This expansion will increase Taft Dayton’s office space by 25%, an important investment that will enable the firm’s growth across the region.
In addition, Taft will open a 3,900 square foot Taft Center on the first floor – designed to be used for firm meetings, conferences, and events. The Taft Center supports the revitalization of Downtown Dayton, serving as a gathering place for the community.
“Taft is growing rapidly. We have long served our clients here in STRATACACHE Tower and we are excited about the plans Chris Riegel has for the building in the future,” said Taft Dayton partner-in-charge Jennifer Hann Harrison. “This expansion will empower us to better support the community and advances our position as an employer of choice in Dayton.”
“Downtown Dayton continues its renaissance, and STRATACACHE Tower is the keystone of the Gem City. As a hub for highly skilled creative professionals to work in a contemporary space surrounded by vibrant arts, entertainment, and dining options, STRATACACHE Tower serves as the center of Dayton’s new creative class,” said Chris Riegel, CEO of STRATACACHE. “Taft’s growth as a firm and within the Tower shows their vision of investing in the communities they serve and building a best-in-class environment for their people and culture.”
As the epicenter of the diverse downtown culture, STRATACACHE Tower is Dayton’s tallest structure and the focal point of the city’s skyline. It is widely considered the premier business location in Dayton since its opening. The property includes an on-site parking garage and surface parking, Carmen’s Deli, and other amenities.
STRATACACHE Tower, purchased by STRATACACHE in 2019, has been home to Taft Dayton for over a decade. Taft first opened its doors in Dayton in 2003, with a goal of hiring just seven attorneys. Today, Taft Dayton is one of the largest law firms in the area with 53 attorneys and staff members, focusing on employment and labor relations, real estate, construction, government contracts, privacy and data security, intellectual property, tax, litigation, and energy matters.
Taft Dayton plans to complete renovations and host a grand opening in early 2022.
