Taft Team Guides First Kinzie Industrial Corridor Sale
Taft is pleased to have acted as legal counsel to Diamond Realty Holdings (DRH) in connection with its sale of an approximately 42,000 square-foot industrial site located at 1901-1933 West Fulton Street, Chicago.
The sale is one of the first stabilized buildings in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor submarket.
The Industrial Corridor Modernization Initiative is a public planning process to refine land use policies for continued growth and private investment in the City’s Industrial Corridor system, started by former Mayor Emanuel. The initiative unleashed the potential of select industrial areas for advanced manufacturing and technology-oriented jobs while reinforcing traditional industrial activities in other areas, and to leverage the unique, physical features of local industrial corridors to foster demand.
Taft’s legal team included business and finance partner Jeffrey M. Friedman, and real estate associates Adam M. Law and Gabriella Dubsky.
