Taft to Sponsor the Center for Performing Arts Jazz Concert Series

INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP announces it will be the title sponsor of the Center for Performing Arts Jazz Concert Series as part of the Center’s inaugural season in 2011.

“Taft is proud to join forces with the Center for the Performing Arts in presenting an outstanding lineup of jazz artists,” said Robert J. Hicks, partner-in-charge of Taft’s Indianapolis office.  “We’re honored to have the Taft name associated with some of the country’s best performers who will sound spectacular in the Palladium.  Also, helping to support the cultural development of this region is exciting for our employees who live and work in the community."

About The Center for Performing Arts

The Center for the Performing Arts, which is currently under construction in Carmel City Center, will include the 1,600-seat Palladium concert hall, the Tarkington 500-seat proscenium theater and a 200-seat studio theater. Set for a January 2011 grand opening, no other concert hall of its caliber exists in the area. The Center is being built to serve as a permanent fixture on the Central Indiana landscape and will provide an extraordinary listening experience for audiences. The concert hall will also be home to Michael Feinstein’s Great American Songbook Collection, acting as a museum and education center by day and a concert venue by night.
