Taft Welcomes Casey Cantrell Swartz to the Cincinnati Office
CINCINNATI, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Casey Cantrell Swartz recently joined the firm’s Cincinnati office. Swartz is an associate in Taft’s Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights practice group. She focuses her practice on representing debtors and creditors in all aspects of business restructurings, workouts and bankruptcies.
Prior to joining Taft, Swartz was a law clerk for the Honorable Beth A. Buchanan and Honorable J. Vincent Aug, Jr. of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Ohio. She also has experience representing creditors in consumer bankruptcy cases. Swartz earned her B.A. and her M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She is currently the Chairperson of the Bankruptcy Committee at the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Treasurer for the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), and was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the Midwest regional Bankruptcy Seminar. Swartz and her family reside in Clermont County.
