Taft Welcomes Team of Eight Sophisticated Transactional Attorneys Amid Expansion in Chicago
Taft is pleased to welcome eight new attorneys to its Chicago office. The team comes from former Chicago firm, RM Partners Law, and focuses on sophisticated corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, real estate, commercial finance, technology licensing, intellectual property, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and executive employment counseling.
The group joins during a period of exponential growth and expansion in Taft Chicago. In just the last six months, the office grew its headcount by 10%, ranking it among the top 25 law firms in the city according to Chicago Lawyer. The firm is also upsizing its current office in East Loop Tower with a 37,000 sq. ft. expansion, increasing its footprint by 33%.
