Taft Welcomes Two Associates to the Dayton Office
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Joshua D. Prentice and Lindi B. Shane have joined the firm’s Dayton office as associates.
Prentice is a member of the firm’s Business & Finance group, focusing on Government Contracts law. He counsels and represents government contractors and subcontractors on a broad range of contracting issues, including bid protests, contract claims and disputes, and U.S. Small Business Administration certifications. Prior to attending law school, Prentice served on active duty in the U.S. Army. He was first assigned to a Combined Arms Battalion in the 4th Infantry Division, and deployed to Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005–2006. He then served in the 20th Support Command (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, High Yield Explosives), where he was Aide-de-camp to the Commanding General. In this role, he served during domestic operations, multiple joint exercises in the Republic of Korea, as well as overseas operational support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Prentice received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, where he was also a Distinguished Military Graduate. He received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
Shane is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Business & Finance groups. She concentrates her practice on real estate development, acquisition, leasing and financing. Shane received her J.D., magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law and her B.A. from Indiana University. Upon graduation, she was elected to the Order of the Coif, an honor bestowed by faculty election to the top 10 percent of the class. In addition, she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Civil Litigation Strategy, Bankruptcy, Secured Transactions and Civil Procedure.
