Taft Cleveland partner David Tavolier is quoted in the Crain’s Cleveland Business article “Legacy Capital Partners pivots in hot apartment market,” which was published on Jan. 23, 2022. The article discusses how private equity firm and Taft client Legacy Capital Partners has shifted from a fund-based approach to single-asset investments. Tavolier has advised Legacy Capital Partners since its inception in 2004. 

Tavolier currently chairs Taft’s Tax practice and advises clients on how to best structure new businesses, joint ventures, acquisitions, sales, mergers, divisions, going private transactions, and venture capital funds in ways that ensure favorable tax treatment.
