The Firm Welcomes Six Attorneys
The firm is pleased to welcome partners Stacey Drentlaw, James Jorissen, Patrick Lindmark, Ernest Peake and associates B. Tyler Philippi and Paul Shapiro to the firm. These attorneys bring dynamic practices in construction, real estate development, railroad, complex litigation, creditor’s rights, and ERISA. Their extensive, combined experience in these areas deepens the firm’s strength and ability to deliver the solutions clients demand.

Stacey Drentlaw is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation section. Her practice focuses on representing clients involved in complex commercial litigation, railroad litigation, and construction litigation. She also provides regulatory compliance counseling to her clients. Drentlaw has represented multi-employer benefits funds, railroads, rail equipment manufacturers and owners, pharmaceutical companies, and correspondent lenders and banks in numerous state and federal courts throughout the United States.
James Jorissen is a member of the firm’s Finance and Restructuring section. He practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation and bankruptcy. His experience includes representation of financial institutions, corporations, hedge funds, equipment lessors, indenture trustees, receivers, bankruptcy trustees, creditor committees, government regulators, institutional debt and equity holders and corporate directors and officers in a variety of business, commercial, corporate and contractual disputes.
Patrick Lindmark is a member of the firm’s Real Estate section. His practice focuses on providing legal representation to numerous large and small commercial and residential construction contractors, real estate developers, and finance companies. Lindmark’s construction and development experience includes nearly every facet and phase of the process including contract drafting, labor and employment disputes, insurance and bonding, and contract administration.
Ernest (Ernie) Peake is a member of the firm’s Real Estate section. He focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, construction, real estate and corporate law. He provides legal representation to numerous large and small construction contractors, real estate developers, finance companies and multi-employer benefit plans. As general counsel to all types of businesses, he manages a team of accomplished lawyers who provide legal services tailored to meet client needs.
B. Tyler Philippi is a member of the firm’s Employment, Benefits and Labor section. He focuses his practice on providing advice related to qualified retirement plans, group health plans, and other benefits provided to employees under multiemployer and single-employer plans. He works with clients to address their compliance with a variety of federal laws and regulatory requirements, including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, Taft-Hartley, PPACA, HIPAA and COBRA.
Paul Shapiro is a member of the firm’s Employment, Benefits and Labor section. His practice focuses on counseling multi-employer plans and their trustees on compliance with a variety of federal laws, including ERISA, the Affordable Care Act, and the Internal Revenue Code. He also drafts and negotiates the terms of investment agreements and various service-providers agreements.
