Thompson Appointed to Serve on ISBA Sports & Entertainment Law Section Council
Taft Chicago partner Derrick Thompson, Jr. has been appointed to serve as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s (ISBA) Sports & Entertainment Law Section Council. Council members serve over 27,000 ISBA members by regularly participating in section meetings, contributing to newsletters, and assisting with the development and coordination of CLE programs.
Thompson is a member of Taft’s Litigation and Intellectual Property groups. He focuses on a variety of litigation matters, including partnership disputes, real estate litigation, employment litigation, intellectual property disputes, trust and fiduciary litigation, and sports and entertainment-related disputes.
