Thompson to Moderate Panel on Teacher Resignation and Public Education Policies
Taft Cleveland co-partner-in-charge Adrian Thompson will moderate the panel for “Hot Talks: Compromising Public Classrooms & The Great Resignation – Are Ohio Schools Next?” presented by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Department of Continuing Legal Education on Sept. 6 at noon ET. Panelists include Karen Thompson, chief of staff, Cleveland Metropolitan School District; Jeff Wensing, vice president, Ohio Education Association; Thomas McGee, director, Office of Educator Licensure, Ohio Department of Education; and Holly Trifiro, chief of education, City of Cleveland.
The panel will discuss recent policy changes to states’ teaching license requirements in response to the “Great Resignation.” Panelists will also educate the audience on current Ohio policy and how other states’ modifications could impact public education in Ohio.
