Weekley and DiPuccio to Participate in Smart Business Dealmakers Conference
Taft partner Brandi Weekley will be a panelist at the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference “The M&A Boom: How Long Can It Last” on May 12 in Cleveland, Ohio. She will participate in the Deal Preparedness Session, which will include a discussion on the factors that are influencing transactions and how to prepare for closing transactions.
Taft partner Dominic DiPuccio serves on the event host committee. The firm is a sponsor of the conference that connects hundreds of Northeast Ohio business leaders, including middle-market CEOs, investors, lenders, and M&A advisers, and features sessions covering the breadth of the M&A landscape.
Weekley focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. She counsels private equity funds, venture capital funds, and emerging growth companies on all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, capital formation, and private placements. Weekley has a wide range of experience with structuring and consummating complex early-stage and growth-stage capital formation transactions, from convertible note and series seed financings to later stage and follow-on investment transactions.
DiPuccio chairs Taft’s Mergers and Acquisitions group and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, and public and private equity and debt securities offerings. He represents entrepreneurs, operating companies, real estate sponsors, investors, and institutional funds in a wide variety of corporate finance matters and transactions.
