Weiss Discusses Strategies for Michigan Business Growth at ACG Detroit Panel
Partner Jeffrey Weiss will offer valuable legal insight regarding two business growth strategies during the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Detroit’s “Growth: Organic versus Acquisitive” panel on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the Detroit Golf Club. The Lunch & Learn event begins at 11:15 a.m.
Two other panelists will participate on the panel: Kurt Harvey, chief development officer, Great Expressions Dental Centers: and Gary Lewis, managing director, Cascade Partners.
According to ACG Detroit, in today’s competitive marketplace, growth is critical for long-term success. This growth comes in two forms, organic and acquisitive, Panelists will discuss the pros and cons of both forms of growth, as well as highlight potential risks and rewards for both strategies.
Weiss is a member of the Securities Regulation and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups, representing both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, strategic transactions and other general corporate matters. He also acts as general corporate counsel for many private companies and advises public companies with respect to their reporting requirements and corporate governance obligations.
