Wilcox Writes on Social Media Best Practices
Taft Cleveland partner Amanda Wilcox contributed the article “Best Practices for Social Media Advertising” to the May 2019 issue of The Intellectual Property Strategist published by American Lawyer Media.
In the article, Wilcox reviews common questions that clients often have in the area of social media marketing including getting permission to share, obtaining proper releases, complying with terms of use and thinking about truth-in-advertising laws.
Wilcox focuses her practice on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing and litigation. She manages and enforces international trademark portfolios for major brands, including international clearance searches, legal opinions relating to trademark use and registrability, procurement of trademark registrations worldwide, design and implementation of worldwide trademark watches and enforcement strategies.
