Summary

Abbie is an associate at Taft that focuses her practice on all aspects of labor and employment law. She advises employers on a wide variety of topics,  including employee hiring and termination, employment agreements, employee handbooks and employment policies, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Additionally, she represents employers in litigation matters and defends charges of discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC).

Prior to joining Taft, Abbie was an associate at a large local business firm.

As a law student, Abbie gained experience as a legal extern with the Ohio Attorney General’s office, as a judicial extern to the Hon. Christopher A. Boyko of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and as a summer associate with a large business firm. She also served as a senior editor of the Case Western Reserve University Law Review.
