Summary
Alex counsels business clients with all aspects of securities law, including the structuring of public and private securities offerings and merger and acquisition, reorganization, tender offer, and going-private transactions.
Prior to joining Taft, Alex served for six years as the Securities Commissioner for the Indiana Secretary of State, where he led all registration, enforcement, and education operations of the Indiana Securities Division. Before his appointment, he served in the roles of Chief Deputy Securities Commissioner, Enforcement Attorney, and Enforcement Investigator.
He earned his B.S. from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business and his J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
