Allison Takacs

Associate Denver

Summary

Alli has dreamed of being a lawyer since she was 14 years old. With a passion for logic puzzles and crafting arguments, becoming a litigator was a natural choice for Alli.

Focusing her practice on construction and commercial litigation, Alli is detail-oriented and attentive to what the case and her client need. She believes in intentionally building a case from the ground up to ensure every piece of the puzzle fits together to achieve her clients’ goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Alli focused her practice on representing homeowners and community associations in construction defect litigation. She gained valuable insight representing plaintiffs at all stages of litigation. Now transitioning to representing both plaintiffs and defendants, her experience building cases will give her a unique perspective when advocating for her clients on the other side of the bench.

In addition to her work at the firm, Alli serves as a trial advocacy adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Alli was a member of the DU National Trial Team and secured victories in four trial tournaments during her tenure. Today, she teaches aspiring attorneys the fundamentals of trial practice and helps them prepare for and compete in national mock trial competitions.
