Summary
Austin is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office in the Energy group.
Prior to joining Taft, Austin worked as a DOE Clean Energy Innovator Fellow for the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Austin also gained valuable experience that continues to inform his practice as a legal intern for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Citizens Utility Board of Minnesota.
Austin earned his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in English language and literature with an emphasis in legal studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. While in law school, Austin was a Symposium Director and Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, on the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court team, and President of the Environmental Law Society.
