Summary

As a business and tax partner in Taft’s Cincinnati office, Ben focuses his practice on corporate and income tax matters. He advises clients in matters relating to business entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, operational tax issues, reorganizations, tax-efficient restructurings, and business and tax-efficient exit strategies. Ben also provides counsel on venture capital, private equity, and real estate equity fund matters.

In his tax practice, Ben has extensive experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in federal tax controversies.

Ben obtained his J.D. and L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law, and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Transylvania University.
