Brittany Kennedy

Brittany is an associate in the Real Estate practice in Taft’s Minneapolis office. She focuses her practice primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, including real estate-driven business acquisitions and tax-deferred exchanges.

Brittany has experience representing corporate and individual clients in a variety of transactions involving real estate and closely-held businesses. She assists clients with the entire transaction process, including choosing an optimal transaction structure, working through title and survey issues, and navigating the complex requirements of tax-deferred exchanges. Brittany also assists closely-held businesses with corporate governance matters.

Brittany earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, cumm laude, where she served on the Public Service Board and wrote for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. While in law school, Brittany was a research assistant and externed at a national bank headquartered in Minnesota.
