Summary
Danyel is an attorney in Taft’s Real Estate and Construction practice groups. She represents owners, contractors, architects, and developers in all aspects of construction and development projects, including contract drafting and review, contract negotiation, and real estate development transactions. She also guides clients through land use and zoning issues. Danyel has counseled clients on construction projects of all sizes across a variety of industries while utilizing various delivery models, including design-build projects with public sector owners.
Before joining Taft, Danyel was a construction associate at a regional law firm. She gained additional experience as a clerk to the Hon. Jeffrey P. Hopkins during his tenure as Chief Judge at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Danyel earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University. During law school, she represented startup companies regarding employment and business formation matters as a certified legal fellow at The Brandery.
