Summary

Dorothy is an associate in Taft’s business group, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. She also collaborates with businesses on corporate organization, governance, and other related matters. Dorothy is a member of the firm’s Cleveland and Columbus Corporate Transparency Act Subcommittee.

Dorothy earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University College of Law, and her bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from John Carroll University. During law school, Dorothy gained valuable experience working in the Transactional Clinic, where she helped local nonprofits navigate the Small Business Administration to have their PPP loans forgiven. She served as an Academic Excellence Program Fellow, assisting first-year law students develop essential academic skills, and was also the Business & Technology Executive Editor for the Global Business Law Review.

Prior to joining Taft, Dorothy was an associate at a well-known regional law firm in Cleveland.
