Summary

Emily focuses her practice on labor and employment law. Representing clients in a wide range of industries, she helps in-house counsel, HR professionals, and executive leaders navigate all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. Emily provides day-to-day workplace counseling and represents employers in litigation matters.

Emily’s experience includes drafting petitions for special action before Arizona Court of Appeals; motions in limine regarding improper references to superior court opinions, prior claims against defendant clients, etc.; trial memoranda of law; replies in support of Daubert motions; statutory motions to bifurcate trial into liability and damages phases; trial conclusions of law; responses to motion for summary judgment and motion for reconsideration; and memos regarding jurisdiction and applicable law in Tribal or Federal Court.

Previously, Emily gained experience as a law clerk at the firm in commercial, construction, and employment litigation. She also worked as a legal extern at the Arizona State University Office of General Counsel.

Emily earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and received her bachelor’s degree in management and administration from the University of Denver.
