Emily Thieman

Emily is an attorney at Taft’s Employment and Labor Relations practice group. She focuses her practice on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Taft, Emily was a legal intern in the St. Louis City Counselor’s Office. She also has experience working as a corporate immigration paralegal for a well-known law firm in Cincinnati.

Emily earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where she was a staff editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, as well as the secretary for the Immigration Law Society. She received her B.S. in education from Miami University, cum laude.
