Summary

Eugene primarily focuses on commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate joint venture transactions. He counsels clients on legal matters affecting their businesses, including commercial agreements and legal entity governance issues. Eugene regularly represents private equity portfolio companies and other privately held companies in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of various transactions.

Prior to entering private practice, Eugene served a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable Arthur I. Harris at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio.

Eugene received his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, he earned CALI Awards in Debtor & Creditor Law and Legal Writing & Analysis. Prior to law school, Eugene graduated with a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University.
