Summary

Hannah is an associate in Taft’s Intellectual Property group, whose practice involves all facets of IP litigation with a focus on trademark and unfair competition cases. Hannah leverages her strong research and writing skills and her experience working on trademark prosecution and early enforcement matters to bring a well-rounded perspective to her work.

Prior to joining Taft, Hannah worked as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Jennifer L. Frisch at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She gained experience in draft writing and policy research as an intern for the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland, where she supported the work of Special Rapporteurs in fact-finding missions and addressing complaints of human rights violations.

Hannah earned her J.D., cum laude, from The University of Minnesota Law School and earned a master’s degree in marketing and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in psychology from the University of Cincinnati. While in law school, Hannah was a certified student attorney and student director at the Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic representing non-citizen clients in federal court and served as a law school student representative to the Minnesota Justice Foundation. She also gained experience as a summer associate with the firm for two summers in a row.

In addition to her busy practice, Hannah also teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School for a section of the Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court class.
