Summary

Hannah is an associate in Taft’s Intellectual Property group and focuses her practice on trademark and copyright matters. She counsels clients in all areas of trademark portfolio management, and on trademark clearance searches in the U.S. and abroad. Hannah additionally advises clients regarding copyright protection, licensing, domain issues, UDRP proceedings, advertising and branding online and on social media, advertising claims, talent and influencer agreements, publicity rights, contests, sweepstakes, and promotions.

Prior to joining Taft, Hannah worked as an intellectual property associate at a well-known regional firm in Minneapolis. She also has experience prosecuting trademark applications including counseling on and responding to Office Actions, as well as filing and pursuing opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Hannah earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and music from the University of Chicago. While in law school, Hannah served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law.
