Helen Wu

Helen is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office and employs a client-focused and practical approach to all aspects of business law.

Prior to joining the firm, Helen gained in-depth business experience as a tax consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm and as a volunteer for the Internal Revenue Service. She continued to build her professional legal experience as a summer associate with Taft for two consecutive years.

Helen earned her J.D. and Transactional Law Certificate from Loyola University Chicago where she was an Associate Editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal and worked at the Business Law Clinic. During law school, she also interned at Legal Aid Chicago and the Civilian Office of Police Accountability. She holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
