She has experience drafting commercial agreements, loan documents, disclosures, and formation documents for investment companies. Her experience also includes overseeing the due diligence process, drafting closing documents, and managing M&A transactions from start to finish.

Joanie has always been interested in corporate law and partnering with business leaders to help shape the future of their companies. She began her practice in financial services, counseling investment companies on federal and state regulations. Prior to joining the firm, she served as an associate at a Denver-based law firm, where she shifted her practice to include more transactional work.
Joanie graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics. She received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where she served as the executive editor for the Journal of Legislation & Public Policy.
