Summary

Katherine is a conflicts attorney in Taft’s Detroit office. She identifies and resolves ethical and business conflicts for the firm’s new clients and matters. Katherine also assists in conflict clearance and client and matter intake for lateral attorneys.

Prior to joining the firm, Katherine was a conflicts attorney for an AmLaw 50 firm where she reviewed proposed engagement terms with prospective clients and coordinated with firm attorneys to carry out the negotiation and execution of engagement terms.

Katherine earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and her bachelor’s degree in international relations and economics from Michigan State University. While in law school, Katherine clerked for the Cook County Circuit Court and was an Associate Editor for the Elder Journal of Law. After finishing law school she clerked for the Hon. William A. Moorman, U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims.
