Summary
Kelsey believes that everyone is entitled to a fair and just trial.
Kelsey is a litigation paralegal with a primary focus in criminal defense. She assists attorneys with drafting legal pleadings and reviewing substantive case records to identify and interpret information to formulate case strategies. Kelsey also meets with clients and counsel to prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trial. She interviews witnesses and performs general investigative tasks in anticipation of trial.
Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from James Madison University and hopes to continue her education and become a lawyer. She also participated in the Criminal Law Internship Program for the D.C. Public Defender Service during her senior year at JMU.
