Kendra S. Follett
Summary
Kendra advises a diverse clientele in all areas of public and project finance. Her clients include state and local governments, universities, transportation systems, multifamily and senior rental housing, energy conservation systems, water and wastewater treatment facilities, hospitals and healthcare systems, and convention centers, stadiums, and civic arenas. Kendra has acted as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and issuer’s counsel in tax-exempt and taxable financings throughout the State of Nevada.
Kendra has represented clients in a wide variety of financing transactions. Her experience includes general obligation financings, lease-purchase financings, revenue-backed financings, assessment financings, lease revenue financings, sales tax revenue financings, tax increment financings, certificates of participation, bond anticipation notes, and commercial paper. She is experienced with a broad range of financing structures including traditional fixed rate, variable rate, and multimodal structures involving various forms of credit enhancement and liquidity support.
In addition, Kendra regularly advises issuers in connection with rules and regulations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board regarding municipal securities regulation and enforcement, regulatory compliance, primary and secondary market disclosures, and enforcement actions.
Regarded as a leader in the field, Kendra is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Bond Counsel, which recognizes lawyers with established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.
