Summary

Kennedy is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office where she focuses her practice on all aspects of business law and has experience representing borrowers, issuers, investment funds, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and lenders in domestic and cross-border leveraged and acquisition financings.

Prior to joining Taft, Kennedy worked as a summer associate at the Cleveland Clinic Law Department and was a debt finance associate for a well-known nationwide firm.

Kennedy earned her J.D., cum laude, with a certificate in Health Law & Compliance Studies from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and bachelor’s degrees in political science and developmental psychology  from DePaul University. While in law school, Kennedy served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Regulatory Compliance, an associate editor for Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences, and was an Illinois Associate of Healthcare Attorneys board fellow.
