Summary

Ken is an attorney in the Compliance, Investigations, and White Collar Defense practice group, based in Taft’s Northern Kentucky office. He is a key member of the practice group, managing a wide variety of matters.

Ken focuses his practice on advising clients about regulatory, compliance, and criminal matters in many areas, including, health care, financial fraud, and complex criminal investigations. Often, Ken is called upon to manage the response to federal and state grand jury subpoenas, search warrants, administrative subpoenas, and corporate internal investigations. His practice also includes civil matters brought against clients that directly impact ongoing criminal matters.

Ken’s experience includes serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS), and unprecedented recovery effort involving hundreds of actions. His practice in this capacity included active discovery and document review in preparing evidentiary support for the SIPA Trustee’s claims against defendants.

Ken received his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and his B.S. From Eastern Michigan.
