Summary
Michael is an associate in Taft’s Private Client practice group in the Denver office. He assists ultra-high net worth clients on all aspects of wealth-transfer planning, estate and trust administration, family office structuring, and federal transfer tax and income tax planning. His experience includes drafting wills, complex trusts, family entity operating agreements, as well as preparing federal gift tax returns.
Michael is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law where he was a student writer on the Journal of Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems and served as a wills, trusts, and estates research assistant. Before law school, Michael studied economics at Rockhurst University and was a member of the university’s collegiate golf team.
