Summary

With a passion for law that runs in her family, Morgan has found a way to combine her talents for public speaking and writing into a career as a litigator.

Morgan grew up in Venezuela and moved to the United States as a teenager. Moving frequently as a child helped her develop excellent listening skills and an empathy for others, which she uses to help understand her clients’ needs and work toward the best possible outcome.

Prior to joining the firm, Morgan gained invaluable insights serving as deputy district attorney in the Denver District Attorney’s office, where she managed a caseload of more than 150 cases in Denver County Court. She also regularly made bond arguments and sentencing arguments, negotiated and reached resolutions of cases with defense counsel, and prepared and tried cases before a jury, including two felony trials.

Morgan credits her trial experience in the DA’s office and working cases from inception to end with maturing quickly as an attorney. Her unique perspectives as a deputy DA enable her to work effectively and collaboratively with clients and opposing counsel and judges alike.

Morgan earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, graduating Dean’s List in 2022. She was a member of the Travis H.D. Lewin Advocacy Honor Society, received the Faculty Advocacy Director’s Award, and served as Legal Pulse editor for the Syracuse Law Review. Morgan was also an Arguing Member of the Syracuse Intercollegiate Appellate Team, winning the Lionel O. Grossman Trial Competition and reaching the finals of the Mackenzie Hughes LLC Appellate Advocacy Competition. She graduated with a B.A. in history from Pensacola Christian College, where she was on the Dean’s List, served as Student Body Vice-President, and was president of Zeta Kappa Rho.
