Nick is an associate in the Detroit office and focuses his transactional practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, complex business transactions, and general corporate matters. He is experienced in handling complex and sophisticated corporate restructuring transactions with nuanced legal issues and brings years of real-world finance and business experience to his practice. Nick began his transactional practice in the corporate restructuring department of a large multinational law firm and has experience restructuring the balance sheets of companies saddled with billions of dollars of funded debt.
He earned earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the Michigan State University College of Law, where he received the Dean’s Valedictorian Award and numerous Jurisprudence Awards. During law school, Nick was a research intern for the Michigan Court of Appeals and was a judicial extern for the Hon. David McKeague, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He holds an M.B.A and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from McMaster University.
