Summary
Sean is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office and focuses his practice on employment and labor relations law.
Prior to joining Taft, Sean gained valuable legal experience working as a judicial extern to the Hon. Christian Sande, Hennepin County Court, and as a summer associate for the firm.
Sean earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he was the Editor-In-Chief for the University of St Thomas Law Journal. Additionally, while in law school, Sean received the University of St. Thomas School of Law Mission Award for Scholarly Engagement and Societal Reform and The Federal Bar Association, Minnesota Chapter Judge Earl R. Larson Award for Excellence in the Study of Federal Law and Practice. He also received several Dean’s Awards during law school, which are awarded to students with the best academic performance in specific subjects. Sean earned his master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Vermont and his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of North Texas. Prior to starting his law career, Sean worked in higher education.
