Tanner J. Sparrow

Tanner is an attorney at Taft and focuses his practice on commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Taft, Tanner worked for Optum (UnitedHealth Group) as a corporate legal intern, where he conducted statutory and regulatory research relevant to the health care and insurance industries and served as an extern for UCare.

Tanner earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, magna cum laude (Order of the Coif), where he completed a wide variety of business and litigation coursework. He was a staff member of the Minnesota Journal for International Law, participated in Civil Liberty and Civil Rights Moot Court, and served on the Board of the Sports Law Association. Tanner graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College with his B.A. in English with a writing emphasis and earned Academic All-Conference honors as captain of the football team.
