Taylor John knew from an early age she wanted to be a lawyer. Today, she provides unique insights in her business practice.
Taylor assists clients, as seller or buyer, with mid-market mergers and acquisitions. She also has experience with corporate governance, entity formation, contract drafting, securities for public companies, and nonprofit work.
She draws on her experience as a program financial analyst and contracts negotiator for the Navy, where she financially managed submarine programs and prepared and negotiated non-disclosure agreements for combat ships.
Taylor’s works on a wide range of clients’ matters, including pet-related business, restoration projects, telecommunications and media, government, and food and beverage. She takes the time to build relationships with her clients and works to understand their business and personal goals so she can advocate for them. Detail oriented, she asks the appropriate questions to ensure she has the information needed to provide the most forward-looking counsel.
She is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, where she was a student-attorney for the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and worked with clients on business formation and corporate governance needs. Taylor was an associate for a student-led venture capital fund, which evaluated and invested in startups. Additionally, she externed for Justice Melissa Hart of the Colorado Supreme Court and was named the 2021 Young Professional of the Year by the Center for Legal Inclusiveness.
