Summary

Vince is an attorney in Taft’s Detroit office. Vince represents businesses, individuals, and public entities in business litigation, contract disputes, non-compete/non-solicitation litigation, whistleblower claims, defamation litigation, employment litigation, membership and shareholder disputes, class and collective actions, and constitutional claims, including First Amendment claims, among other areas of litigation.

Coming from a family of small business owners, Vince knows first-hand how disruptive a legal dispute can be to business operations. No matter the case or industry, Vince collaborates closely with his clients to understand their business so he can develop and implement a strategy designed to protect their interests and achieve their business goals.

Vince has extensive experience practicing before state and federal trial courts at all levels, including various appellate courts, in addition to administrative bodies.

Vince’s practice also includes employment counseling where he regularly advises and counsels employers on an array of employment issues, including drafting and revising handbooks and policies in addition to employment and non-compete agreements, consulting on terminations and separations, conducting internal investigations, advising on employment issues arising during transactions, and ensuring employers follow state and Federal employment statutes.

Vince has experience across numerous industries, including healthcare, telecommunications, real estate, and insurance. Vince also frequently joins trial teams to draft and argue critical dispositive motions and motions in limine, which have significantly limited claims and damages leading to favorable resolutions for clients.

Vince also maintains a political law practice, where he litigates and advises on issues involving campaign finance, ballot access, recounts, recalls, ballot initiatives, and other election law issues.

Vince earned his J.D., cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Wayne State University Law School and his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan. While in law school, Vince was the Managing Editor for the Wayne Law Review.
