Summary
| Zach represents individual and business clients in corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance transactions, and commercial real estate transactions. Zach has considerable experience in company formations and negotiating and drafting various corporate transactional agreements.
In addition to his corporate transactional work, Zach has extensive experience in representing individuals, banks, and companies in all areas of energy law, including oil and gas and pipeline litigation, real estate litigation, real estate/midstream/upstream transactional matters, and title curative matters. Prior to joining Taft, Zach was an associate with a well-known regional firm based in Columbus, where he practiced extensively in the areas of general corporate transactional matters and transactional and litigation work for energy companies and individuals in the energy space. Zach earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Marietta College. During law school, Zach served as a legal extern for the Honorable Phillip J. Green, U.S. Magistrate Judge, Western District of Michigan, and for the Nature Conservancy, Michigan Field Office in Lansing, Michigan. |
